Passports and visas
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements, including obtaining entry visas to Switzerland and any necessary transit visas.
Important note: passports must be valid for at least three months after the entry date to Switzerland.
Visa procedures
We recommend that once you are registered you apply immediately for your visa for Switzerland since for nationals of some countries the procedure may take some time (usually 6-8 weeks). You will find all the necessary information concerning visas and entrance into Switzerland on the Federal Office for Migration website. An individual invitation letter will be issued for confirmed participants.
It is highly recommended that you obtain your visa before travelling as most airlines will not allow you to board the plane without it.
Insurance
The participant fee does not include insurance concerning accidents, sickness or loss of personal property. You are advised to make appropriate arrangements for health/accident insurance before leaving your home country.
