In order to take part in the Symposium you must register on-line. When your registration is received, you will be sent an acknowledgment via email confirming receipt of your registration form. We urge you to register as early as possible to ensure your participation. Participation feesFees for participants are as follows:
The participation fee includes entry to all conference sessions, exhibition, poster area and the opening and closing sessions, as well as one reception, three lunches, one dinner and coffee breaks. Accompanying persons who pay a fee are entitled to join the welcome reception, Gala dinner. They may not take part in Symposium sessions or receive documentation. Participants are responsible for the cost of their travel, insurance and accommodation. The participants supported by the symposium will not be asked to pay for the fee. Fees will be waived for accredited journalists. If you are a WHO staff member registering to the Symposium please select “bank transfer” as your payment method in the registration form and contact Nelly Bertrand to complete the payment for your participation fee. Confirmation of participationYour registration will not be considered complete until your payment has been received and deposited. Once your registration is complete, you will be sent an official confirmation letter for use in visa applications, in requests for funding or leave of absence Payment optionsThe symposium will accept participant fee payment in USD, and EUR, and CHF. Payment can be made through the online registration form by credit card or by bank transfer. Please note that bank transfers must be received before 15 October 2010 for your registration to be ensured. Registration DeadlineRegistration officially closes on 1 October 2010. Cancellation policyFor registrations cancelled before 1 October 2010, 85% of the fee will be reimbursed. The reimbursement of the fees will take place between 1 December 2010 and 30 December 2010.
